Finished 'The Devil and Miss Prym' a couple of days ago. I enjoyed it much more the second time I tried to read it. I guess I just wasn't in a philosophical state of mind the first time around. Then I read the blurbs for Paulo Coelho's other books in the back of my book. I can't quite get over the fact that he really had a mysterious mystic and mentor and went on pilgramiges and adventures where he saw spiritual incarnations. I think his biography and his stories woven with his real life might be even more exciting than his fiction.
I also received my introductory book package from my newly joined bookclub. I'm in two minds whether to keep them or not. I got five books for £2.95 when the retail value is (apparently though I'm pretty sure it's fabricated or based on the books as hardback when all mine are paperback) £64.95 and I did find more than five books in the magazine which would make it possible for me to fulfill my "contract" but I spent so much money on clothes last week I should be conserving money. Hoarding it in fact.
If you want to hear rambling and accounts of the more drunken aspects of my life check my livejournal right now. It's full of the stuff.
